Business and a Sustainable Environment Show
Matrix Decisions exhibited the new CarbonHub tool at the Business and a Sustainable Environment Show.
James Potter from Matrix Decisions attended the Business and a Sustainable Environment Show at the London ExCel last week and was in great company with exhibitions from WSP, Mason Hardy, CBI, British Gas, Carbon Trust, Linklaters, Met Office, Marsh, Regional Development Agencies, ProLogis, Lloyds Bank, Kraft Foods and more.
We were exhibiting the new CarbonHub tool which captures the base line, targets and tracks these over time to enable you to demonstrate early action, a key part of the first year measurement of success. The CarbonHub also lets you share best practice, documents, policies and communications within your business, both in document form but also in rich graphic and video formats.
The demonstrations were well received, together with our partner Mason Hardy we highlighted one sites exposure of just over £1,000,000 per annum allowance and how the tool could mitigate the risk and align them to a high performance outcome. The achievement in success in the later league tables could make as much as £500,000 difference to the site, either in terms of penalty or bonus in year five, certainly enough to get their attention and the attention of their board moving forwards.
