Improving value for money within local authorities
We have completed more sales to local authorities this week who are looking to demonstrate their service performance, outcomes and to manage contracts better.
Initially focussed around the Supporting People agenda we have helped groups to benchmark their services internally and externally with their anonymous peers. To present compelling reports on the impacts of Supporting People and the council in helping vulnerable groups.
The feedback from clients has been outstanding – productivity savings of between 720 and 1440 man days of effort from initial client feedback, a significant amount given resource, productivity pressures and all from a tool costing less than £5,000!
It is simple to use as it leverages one of the existing CLG reports to extract the valuable data we need and to use this as a baseline for the toolset. We are delivering benchmarking of support people and outcome reporting at this stage, with further plans to broaden this out into additional modules and further application sales from the portfolio including health and safety, carbon reduction and wider performance management.
